Meet your coach
Hey, I’m Ashleigh Fish, artist, surface pattern designer, educator, and your biggest cheerleader.
I actually studied education at university with plans to become a teacher… but life had other ideas. Travel, motherhood, and a creative spark pulled me onto a new (and honestly, way more exciting) path: surface pattern design.
I have licensed with brands like RJR fabrics, Studio Oh, Loomwell, Alice and Ames, Hawthorne Supply Co, Sand and Fog and Carriage House Printery to name a few.
Now, my favourite thing is helping other artists + surface pattern designers get their work seen by the right people, noticed by brands, and turned into real products. I’m here to guide you step-by-step, building your confidence, getting your designs out into the world, and opening the doors to the licensing opportunities you’ve been dreaming about.

Questions
-
Nope! A lot of designers hold off because they think they need a full website before they can start… but that’s just not true. I’ll show you exactly what to do if you don’t have a website yet, so you can still start pinning your work and getting it seen right away.
-
Pinterest isn’t instant like Instagram, but that’s actually the magic of it. Pins you create today can keep working for you months (or even years) down the line. Most designers start seeing traction within weeks if they follow the system.
-
Absolutely. This workshop is beginner-friendly, and I screen-share the exact steps so you can literally follow along. No fancy tools or advanced tech skills needed.
-
That’s the beauty of Pinterest. Once you know how to batch-create and schedule pins (which I teach you step by step), it doesn’t take much time at all. Think: a few hours upfront for months of visibility.
-
Because this is a digital workshop that you’ll have instant access to, I don’t offer refunds. I’ve poured a lot into making this as clear and actionable as possible, and I’m confident that if you go through the lessons and put them into practice, you’ll see the difference Pinterest can make for your designs.
-
Not at all. I cover free options and simple design tricks so you can create professional-looking pins without upgrading or spending hours fiddling.
You can use your preferred design program to create the pin graphics. -
The strategies work for anyone wanting to use Pinterest, but the examples, lessons, and tips are specifically designed with surface pattern designers in mind. So if licensing is your goal, this workshop was literally made for you.
-
Chances are you didn’t have the strategy in place to make it work. This workshop strips away the guesswork and gives you a clear system , from setup and pin creation to SEO, keywords, and scheduling, so your pins actually get found and saved.
-
Absolutely! I’m here to cheer you on and support you. You can reach out with questions, and I also add in new lessons + updates when requests come up. If there’s something you need, I’ll do my best to make sure it’s covered so you feel fully supported as you grow on Pinterest.
-
Bestie, listen, Pinterest is not Instagram. Nobody is zooming in on your kerning or judging whether your pin background is “aesthetic” enough. What matters is that your designs get out there where brands and art directors can actually find them. Done is better than perfect here, and I’ll show you simple design tricks to make pins look polished without wasting hours.
